Fully & brilliantly restored BMW 315 E21 in Balticblau metallic with black real leather interior. The car features the rare 1.6lt engine that was introduced at the end of the career of E21. It has the original 4-speed gearbox and all numbers are matching. The car has had numerous new original parts installed, almost entirely from Walloth & Nesch in Germany. It holds a FIVA card with an "excellent restoration" note and carries classic number plates in Greece.
Restoration took place between 2006 and 2010 and included a full respray, a completely new interior and a detailed restoration of the engine. Well kept in dry environment over the past ten years in Athens, Greece. Recently replaced a later model BMW radio with a period correct Bavaria radio, fully restored by a well established London company that has also fitted an audio jack input for MP3 player connection.
The car features the original steel wheels that came from the factory. There is also a set of alpina style aluminum wheels available (x4) that can be provided with the car if needed. There is also a box of original parts that will be delivered with the car.
The car drives beautifully, holds perfect idle and a rock solid temperature reading. It is indeed a pleasure to drive and gives plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beauty of classic motoring.
